The Boonton Historical Society, a founding member of the Pathways tour, joins the multi-day tour on May 1st ONLY. Visit the Pathways website for complete details of the over 20 historic sites open on May 1st & 2nd at http://pathwaysofhistorynj.net/.
The Boonton Historical Society and Museum at 210 Main Street is an ideal place to start the tour. Built in 1898 by local Doctor John Taylor, the building previously served as the doctor’s home and offices and Boonton Town Hall, and is American Legion Post 124. With three exhibit rooms and two well-stocked gift shops, the Museum welcomes you to our new exhibit of local artists including the work of Boonton native Bob Bogue. Free parking is available behind the museum.
