Public Presentation by River Walk, LLC. Developer February 21, 2023

River Walk, LLC, an entity of FM Construction Group and owner of the listed properties, made a public presentation at the February 21, 2023, Town Council meeting. The presentation introduced River Walk, LLC, and gave an overview of the current site conditions, and site work completed to date. River Walk presented the proposed use of the property currently zoned for high-density housing, its potential impact on the area, and the potential benefits to the Town. Background Information

The Town of Boonton’s Planning Board held a public hearing on February 9, 2022, with a presentation by Topology, the Town’s planning firm, summarizing their investigative report, recommending that block 34, lots 1.01 and 1.02 of the tax map of the Town of Boonton be designated as a non-condemnation area in need of redevelopment. The Planning Board passed such a resolution on February 23, 2022, sending this recommendation to the Mayor and Town Council. Mr. Colley of Topology presented the findings of the study for a second time publicly at the March 22, 2022, Council meeting, and the governing body passed resolution 22-100 on April 4, 2022, accepting this recommendation.
